We may send our patients to experts (board-certified veterinary surgeons) to carry out complex surgeries where specialized tools or training would be helpful because we want to give our patients the best care possible. To ensure safe anesthesia for your pet, our veterinary team takes the necessary steps. Before surgery, we examine your pet physically and complete preoperative testing to determine that your pet is in the proper health for anesthesia. Our team will monitor them throughout the procedure, and during recovery, they administer painkillers as needed, so your pet is comfortable while they recuperate.
